How are our products made?
Our products are hand-made by skilled artisans using traditional techniques of printing and hand embroidery. One of the techniques called “Kantha” stitching involves using long running stitches to give it a slightly wrinkled, wavy effect, and draw patterns. Another technique known as Block Printing involves hand stamping fabrics using wooden blocks.
As the products are made by artisans instead of machines, perfect uniformity is not our goal. Each time our artisans hand-stamp the fabric, it comes out slightly different, and that’s the point! Sometimes the “stamp” or “block” might have more ink on it than others, sometimes it might not be perfectly lined up, or sometimes it might ooze ink from the corners. All of this lends the products an authenticity not found in mass manufactured linens.
All products are made out of 100% cotton and use eco-friendly dyes.
How can I get a feel for the products before buying?
Video: If a picture says 1000 words, then video is priceless! Our site features videos for most of our products below the description on the product page. You can view these to better understand fabric fall, weight, quality, and colors.
Zoom View: You can place your mouse over the product photos to zoom in and view detailed embroidery and hand work.
Can I return the products?
We accept returns and offer a full refund minus a $9.99 outbound shipping and handling charge. The following conditions must be met for accepting a return: 1) You must contact us within 21 days of the purchase date 2) Product must be unused and in original packaging 3) Product should not have been laundered.
Any shipping or exchange fees for returning the product back to us are the responsibility of the customer.

How should I clean and care for the products?
You can machine wash the products with mild detergents and cold water on a gentle cycle. Please tumble dry on low heat and, if necessary, iron on a medium setting. Please DO NOT use bleach or products with bleach in them as this will cause the colors to leak and will damage the products.
How does shipping work?
We can ship anywhere in the United States for $9.99 & Canada and rest of the world for $14.99. Shipments will be sent via UPS, Federal Express, or U.S. Postal Service. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the Contact Us form in case you want to arrange shipment outside these default areas.
We generally ship your order within 1 business day of receipt – In most cases, the product will be at your door-step in 2-7 business days.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS – Please take into account that items may be held for additional customs/duty/VAT fees in your country of residence. These fees are separate from your purchase with us, and we unfortunately have no control over them. Marking a false value or marking the parcel as a “gift” is illegal, so please do not ask us to do so.
Why are items marked as not in stock?
We produce our items in small batches, but frequently, which may result in intermittent stock outs. If you like an item that is out of stock, please email us at email@example.com or fill the Contact Us form.
Can I place wholesale orders (E.g. For Hospitality settings)?

Do you collect sales tax?
Similar to several other online retail sites, we do not collect sales tax.
